Weird expression, eyes closed, mouth open… It seems whenever someone takes pictures of me when I’m doing a presentation, they all have at least one of these features. Thank goodness for digital cameras and ‘delete’ buttons!
At least the residents of The Kensington in Victoria were all engaged in the story and interested in hearing about the genesis of The Medal. Many had lived through World War II themselves and shared their own memories of that time period. What a delightful afternoon.
Many thanks to Cheryl-Ann Webster for organizing the presentation, setting up the mic and taking photos.
