Laurie Ness Gordon
Laurie Ness Gordon lives with her husband on a waterfront property north of Kingston, Canada. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and English, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration, a Diploma in Recreation Leadership, and has completed numerous writing courses. Following retirement as a principal, she spent nine years dividing her time between writing and serving as volunteer Project Manager for a touring art exhibition. Since 2004 her articles have appeared in magazines and newspapers in Canada and Britain. Her debut novel,The Medal, was published by Borealis Press in 2014. Finding Home, historical fiction set in the 1870s, came out in 2023. As well as working on a contemporary murder mystery, Laurie spends her time supporting refugee families. She enjoys travelling, swimming, shovelling snow and being ‘productive’. Her favourite holiday memory is a motorcycle trip across Canada.
